Our Online Prescribing Service
Our online prescribing service is designed to provide safe, seamless, and efficient access to prescription-only medicines. Patients complete a secure online health questionnaire, which is reviewed by our team of qualified prescribers. If the medication is clinically appropriate, a prescription is issued and the medicine is dispensed from our registered pharmacy. Orders are delivered promptly in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging to preserve product integrity.
In certain cases, to ensure the highest standards of patient safety, a video consultation may be required before issuing a prescription. This ensures our services mirror the clinical standards of a face-to-face consultation while offering greater flexibility and accessibility.
Our service does not end with delivery. Patients are supported throughout their treatment journey and can contact our team at any time for one-to-one guidance to ensure medicines are taken correctly and effectively.
Pharmaease provides a safe and fully regulated online consultation and prescribing service to support the supply of prescription-only medicines. All prescribing is conducted exclusively by our Superintendent Pharmacist, Mr Muhammad Rafiq, an experienced Independent Prescriber registered in the United Kingdom with GPhC registration number 2065278. The service is operated by Nationwide Healthcare Solutions Ltd (trading as Pharmaease), based at 172 Willows Lane, Bolton, BL3 4BU, United Kingdom, and all clinical consultations and prescribing activities are carried out within the UK. Our online prescribing service is regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as it is delivered entirely by a UK-registered Independent Prescribing Pharmacist working within a registered pharmacy. The pharmacy premises registration number is 9010200, and both the pharmacy and prescriber can be independently verified using the GPhC public registers available at https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/registers/pharmacy and https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/registers/pharmacist by searching for “Muhammad Rafiq” or registration number 2065278. As a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber, Mr Rafiq may assess patients through online questionnaires, conduct follow-up via email, telephone or video where appropriate, and prescribe medicines within his professional competence while following national guidelines such as NICE recommendations, MHRA safety updates, GPhC Standards for Pharmacy Professionals, and Standards for Independent Prescribers. Pharmaease ensures that all prescribing decisions follow UK prescribing policies and are supported by robust clinical governance processes, including regular clinical audits to monitor safety, appropriateness, and adherence to best practice. The prescriber maintains full professional indemnity insurance covering all clinical activity, and Nationwide Healthcare Solutions Ltd has informed its own indemnity provider that the business model includes online prescribing to ensure comprehensive cover. The company performs ongoing checks to confirm that the prescriber remains fully authorised, insured and competent, including verification of GPhC registration and Independent Prescriber annotation, identity checks, annual competency reviews and regular audit of prescribing decisions. At present, all prescribing for Pharmaease is conducted solely by Mr Muhammad Rafiq, ensuring a consistent, transparent and accountable prescribing service for all patients.
